Last week I had the opportunity to make a diaper cake for a dear co-worker of mine, Melissa.
This cake was special to begin with - said baby was born a preemie, and is a whopping 1lb, 14oz (and healthy!).
What we (Melissa and I) didn't know was the theme to the baby shower that mom didn't make it to before baby made her early arrival.
As always, I hit up Target (my fave for materials) and let the baby "stuff" guide me. I picked out a cute (and tiny!) preemie pink monkey set, and ran with it.
Turns out, me and the itty bitty one were on the same page, because the shower and nursery theme turned out to be monkeys!
So glad to be a part of such a special little life!
